He made the transition to college and career adviser because he wanted to spend more one-on-one time with students and interact with them more.

Acevedo said, “Even with everything happening in the world right now I feel very blessed to be here and I am excited to start my first-year teaching at the Ranch.”

So far, he has enjoyed the community environment that LRHS fosters and appreciats how welcoming everyone has been to him, even amid the pandemic.

So far, Acevedo has been sending out information to juniors and seniors about upcoming virtual college fairs and hopes to do more in the future.
