Mustangs are raising money for Blake Kelly

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Student Government Association (SGA) has organized a fundraiser with the hopes of benefiting junior Blake Kelly and his family.

Kelly was diagnosed with an extremely rare cancer known as Ewings Sarcoma on his 16th birthday. To help raise money to fund his treatment, Blake’s family is working with SGA to sell wristbands on campus.

SGA Advisor Delaney Riggins explained, “There will be flyers around school with the QR codes so that Mustangs can buy wristbands on-line.”

Wristbands can be purchased here, and any additional donations can be made to Kelly’s GoFundMe page here.

Blake’s mom Lisa Kelly commented, “If you do not have the ability to donate, that is okay! All we ask is for your love and support and hope that you take a second to share this page to help spread the word!”
