Louis Henry is LRHS’s new French teacher.

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – During this unusual return to school, LRHS welcomed many new teachers to the Mustangs family. This includes the school’s only French teacher, Louis Henry.

Henry will not only be responsible for teaching French this year but math as well.

He has been a teacher for more than 25 years and has taught at many schools including Manatee County’s Lee Middle School.

Henry loves sharing information and knowledge with others. He came to the Ranch to fulfill his dream of teaching French and sharing his wealth of knowledge with the Mustangs here.

Henry is not only teaching at the Ranch for the first time but is, of course,  also teaching through COVID-19 for the first time.

“I used to love interacting with my students, seeing their faces every day, and getting feedback from them. All of this I sadly can’t do due to COVID-19 but hope to again soon,” he said.

Henry’s favorite thing about working at the Ranch is the different attitude and discipline of the students.

“I feel as though the schools I worked at before were not quite as disciplined as it is here. The Ranch is great at finding a middle ground and I give much of the credit to the amazing Mustangs who go here,” Henry stated.
