Key Club seeks service-minded Mustangs

Key Club is an internationally recognized community service agency.

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS Key Club is looking for Mustangs who are interested in earning community service hours.

Key Club is an international organization which works to help students develop leadership skills by volunteering in their community.

The LRHS Key Club officers are as follows:

  • President- Anna Huszar
  • Vice President- Abigail McManus
  • Secretary- Emma Foley
  • Public Relations- Lucas Scott
  • Treasurer- Lorenzo Liberti
  • Class Directors- Tayjah Kennedy and Alondra Castaneda
  • Club Advisor- Ricardo Acevedo

Member applications can be found on the LRHS Key Club Website and should be submitted through the Remind by Oct. 4.

Due to current circumstances, Mustangs have the option to choose between online and in-person events.

In order to participate in in-person events, Mustangs must wear a mask and sign a waiver due to COVID-19, which are also due Sunday, Oct. 4.

LRHS college and career adviser and club sponsor Ricardo Acevedo stated, “The structure of Key Club is staying like what it was in previous years but has changed some due to COVID-19. We are doing whatever we can to keep our members safe and adhere to CDC guidelines.”
