Tess Lippincott – Special to “Mustangs Ahead”
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) -The LRHS Technology Student Association (TSA) is providing Mustangs information on how to join even if they are full-online or hybrid student for the 2020-2021 school year. TSA is a leadership club that is centered around using Science-Technology-Engineering-Mathematics (STEM) in a fun learning environment.
TSA students usually compete against other schools in the categories of engineering, graphic design, architecture, 3D modeling, and video production. There may not be competitions this year, so the club will focus more on skill building and getting experience in STEM fields.
They also may have events where Mustangs can do video game design, speech, fashion design, and technology, if they are cleared to go.
“This year, we are planning on doing online meetings via Microsoft teams to accommodate for eLearners and Hybrid students,” said TSA vice-president Paige Willemsen, junior. Interested Mustangs can email LWRTSA@gmail.com to get instructions on how to join.
The next meeting will take place on Wednesday Sept. 30. It is an important informational meeting.
