(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- On Friday the LRHS varsity football team defeated Booker High School 27-7 in the Mustangs’ second game of the season.

This was the first home game for the Mustangs.

Senior Nolan Carpenter said Booker played a good game Friday night and that it was a great game to play on their senior night.  Prior to the game all seniors who participated in football, cheer, dance and band walked down the field.

Carpenter added, “It was nice to see our stands full of parents, students, and faculty who were cheering us on.”
