Speech therapist Michelle Andzrejewski enjoys her job.

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Of the many new additions to the LRHS staff this year is speech language pathologist Michelle Andrzejewski.

Andrzejewski said her job is to work with small groups of Excptional Student Education (ESE) students to improve reading comprehension and language skills.

Over her past five years as a speech pathologist she has taught many different grades, but Andrzejewski is currently working with grades 9-12.

Andrzejewski said, “My favorite part of teaching is watching the kids take what they’ve learned and applying it, as well as seeing them improve throughout the year.”

Andrzejewski is originally from Indiana and attended college at Purdue University.

She is grateful to work here at the Ranch and is excited for what this year will bring despite the current circumstances.

Andrzejewski became a therapist because she loved working with kids and watching them grow and learn.

Andrzejewski said, “Due to COVID-19 it has been hard to interact with students and harder to teach while making sure everyone is social distanced.”
