Mustang volleyball win one, lose one

The 2020 LRHS volleyball Mustangs.

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS volleyball team are 1-1 over the past few days. 

On Tuesday Sept. 15, the LRHS varsity volleyball team beat Bradenton Christian School (BCS) 3-1.  

The scores for the game against BCS include the first set 25-22, second set 25-17, third set 22-25, and fourth set 25-19 with LRHS taking victory.

The Mustangs also played Venice High School (VHS) at home on Sept. 16 and lost 0-3. 

The scores against VHS include first set 25-21, second set 25-18, and third set 25-19 with a win for VHS.  

The team will play VHS again on Tuesday Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. at Venice. 

Senior AJ Sprague said, “It was a tough match and we fought hard, and we’re ready to play them again on Tuesday and win.” 

The next home game for the Mustangs is Sept. 24 at 6 p.m. against Braden River High School.
