Cassidy McLellan– Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) –The Lakewood Ranch High School Advisory Counsil (SAC) is holding a meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 22 at six p.m. on Microsoft Teams.
Any parents interested in joining should email LRHS assistant principal Michael Staker for an invitation to attend.
“The LRHS SAC is an opportunity for the community to learn more about our school,” said Staker, “It also allows parents to get information that they might not have gotten from their student or that their student did not know about.”
LRHS SAC aims to aid in the review of the Florida School Report, develop a School Improvement Plan, ease communication between school, home and community, and acknowledge any additional items they decide to bring to the principal.
According to the LRHS SAC By-Laws, “The Council will foster a school-community partnership and assist the school principal in the evaluation and development of policy, budgets, and annual school reports to create a formal line of communication between the school, home and community.”
There will be four or more meetings held throughout the school year and each will be scheduled when all members can attend.
For more information, see the LRHS SAC agenda and By-Laws on the school website.
