(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) On Monday the LRHS FFA received news it was selected  as a Model of Excellence National Finalist.  This means that LRHS FFA chapter is one of the top ten FFA programs in the entire nation.

LRHS agriculture teacher Janyel Taylor said, “We continuously strive to develop a program of activities each year that focuses on growing leaders, building communities, and strengthening agriculture. I am very proud of my members for how far they have come and how far they will go.”

Taylor continued by stating how the next step of the process is to have two to three LRHS FFA members virtually present a 15-minute overview of all the activities from last year to the judges that evaluate the finalists.
