(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL-) After the abrupt ending to the 2019-2020 school year, not all Mustangs returned textbooks, leaving the school short for this year.

Mustangs will not be allowed to check out any new textbooks until all their previous year’s textbooks have been returned.

To limit the number of people in the media center forms were sent out last week so Mustangs could sign up for a time slot to return books. If anyone misses their time slot they are to come in on Tuesday, Aug. 25, at the time of their original sign-up date.

When in the media center, there is blue tape marked on the ground to maintain social distancing guidelines.

LRHS media specialist Jill Mullens said, “It is imperative for eLearning students to know exactly which textbooks they need to check out to avoid too many people looking for their textbooks at once.”

Mustangs who take classes through the State College of Florida (SCF) have been sent an email with times and dates to retrieve their textbooks.

LRHS staff stresses the use of online textbooks over hard copy to avoid contamination as much as possible.
