The COVID-19 virus has become a pandemic and many students have altered their plans to travel.

Senior Anna Stock said, “I was supposed to go on a senior trip to California and a cruise, but now my dad will be working throughout the summer since his office is closed now due to COVID-19.”

Junior Emma Paliotta stated that her summer plans have also changed quite a lot due to COVID-19.

“Being a junior, I had a lot of testing and community activities to get done, which were sadly canceled,” said Paliotta. “I now have to do those things in the summer, which may also have an impact on our family vacation.”

Some Mustangs however have not altered their plans.

Freshman Omar Elmahdi stated that most of his summer plans are still intact because they are towards the end of the summer.

“We are planning on flying to Chicago for the week of Fourth of July,” said Elmahdi. “We also plan on doing several trips to Disney as long as this clears up by mid-June.”
