Juniors(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – As the 2019-2020 school year comes to an end, LRHS says goodbye to the senior class of 2020 and welcomes in the new senior class of 2021. With this, comes new plans and a new Senior Advisory Board (SAB) for the 2020-2021 school year.

Each year, LRHS math teacher and senior class adviser Ann Fleury, with the help of faculty and students, selects students from the upcoming senior class to become part of the board. SAB members are responsible for helping Fleury plan senior privileges, design class hoodies, and collect senior fees.

Due to current circumstances, the application process for the class of 2021 SAB has not yet begun. However, Fleury said she plans for applications to be released next week.

“Each student that applies will submit an application and hopefully I will hold interviews virtually through platforms such as zoom or teams. I will then have the junior class and faculty vote online,” explained Fleury.

Additional plans have yet to be made for the upcoming school year as Fleury focuses on taking care of the class of 2020.
