Mustangs React – The best and worst of eLearning

mustangs react logo(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- This week we asked Mustangs, “What are the best and worst things about eLearning?”

There are many advantages and disadvantages to eLearning.

Freshman Hayley Pollard said, “My favorite part of eLearning is being able to make my own schedule and do my work whenever it is best for me. It allows me to have time for other things and spend more time with my family. I miss seeing my friends and teachers at school because there are limited resources to help me when I need it.”

With eLearning continuing for the rest of the 2019-2020 school year, many students have figured out a way to manage their schoolwork in the way that works best for them.

Sophomore Charlize Ucciferri stated, “The best part about it is being able to work at my own pace. The worst part is not being able to get help on certain things when I need it.”

Junior Carolina King agreed with Ucciferri.

“I really enjoy being able to work on my own time and get work done when it is the best time for me. I can manage my time better. Although, the worst part is not being able to interact with my teachers and fellow students,” said King.

Junior Josh Pollard shared, “eLearning has given me the opportunity to perfect my work since I have more time than before. I can access my schoolwork and notes whenever I need to since it is all online and in one place. Although, I dislike not being at school and having teachers motivate me. It is harder to have self-discipline.”
