sports logo(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- With their season being over, the Boys’ Lacrosse team has found a new challenge: how to stay busy and active throughout the quarantine and the summer.

Many of the Mustangs on the team found it was a weird transition as they went from the middle of the season training to doing nothing team related at home.

Senior Ben Dunn said, “I have been mainly focusing on my schoolwork and just trying to get my senior year done to move on to more things. In my free time I have been fishing just to keep myself entertained and not go crazy in quarantine.”

Some find it hard to find the motivation to continue training as they do not know when their next season will be.

“I have been keeping myself busy by trying to stay in shape for the next season. I also have plans to get ready for the summer outside of school so I will be ready for the lacrosse season,” said sophomore Elijah Stobaugh. “For fun, I have been fishing just to keep myself busy while Covid-19 plays out.”

The Boy’s Lacrosse team may have had their season cut short this year, but they hope to be back and better than ever next season.
