LRHS SGA welcomes new leaders

NEWS(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- LRHS’s Student Government Association (SGA) has elected the 2020-2021 school year officers –  

  • President- Brooke Rypel
  • Vice President- Shivanie Ghansiam
  • Secretary- Nolan Carpenter
  • Treasurer- Ethan Spasciani
  • Historian- Madison Smith
  • Public Relations- Ella Grogan
  • Public Relations- Reygan Stubler

“I’m so excited to begin working with such a well-rounded group of students. We have a big year ahead of us and I am confident our new officers will pave the way for new members, and lead by example,” said SGA adviser and early childhood education teacher Delaney Riggins. “Bringing our student body and faculty members together is a top priority, and all of our officers display such a love and passion for our school. They’re determined to make a difference and I’m so proud of each one of them.”

The new officers will begin planning next year’s homecoming theme and come up with new ideas to bring to SGA.

“I am so excited to be president next year. I have looked up to SGA members since I was a freshman, so I was so happy to find out I was elected. I have a ton of new ideas to bring to SGA and am looking forward to a great year” said Rypel.
