Earlier this week it was announced that graduation will now be held 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 29 at the Bradenton Convention Center.

Seniors still have time to order cap and gown as the last day to order will be Saturday, May 9. More information will be released in the next couple weeks, but for now seniors can follow updates on Schoology under the senior class group.

“I really appreciate that the administration at Lakewood really tried to make graduation happen for us rather than just canceling it,” said senior Parker Venuto.

“It stinks that we (seniors) had so much taken away from us such as prom and the last day of school,” said Senior Bailey Wegenast.“I’m glad that we are still able to have a real graduation, even if that means having it in the summer.”
