LRHS yearbooks aren’t on campus yet, but Mustangs who pre-paid should receive one despite the school shutdown.

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The normal school year has come to a halt due to Covid-19, which has impacted spring sports, end-of-year plans, and even LRHS yearbooks.

“Until the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) decides about opening the schools back up, all of those decisions are on hold,” said LRHS yearbook adviser Gregory Klein. “Rest assured, if you prepaid for a yearbook, we will get it to you.”

The main yearbook was finished before the Covid-19 outbreak, but the annual senior supplements were not.

“The senior supplements contain things like prom, graduation, spring sports, senior notables and top 10 percent,” said Klein.

Many Mustangs who produce the yearbook are staying busy figuring out what they can offer as an alternative to the traditional senior supplements.

“I’ve been meeting virtually with the senior editors and as soon as we reach a consensus, the staff will be working on senior supplements spreads from home,” said Klein.
