Gage Gongas – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Registration for next year’s classes has been the buzz around school for the past week. Registration forms are due this Friday, Feb. 28.
School counselors have been very busy helping Mustangs. Students with questions can go to the guidance office and fill out a sheet of paper. From there the Mustangs’ designated counselors will call them down as soon as they can.
While LRHS seniors aren’t signing up for 2020-21 classes, they have solid advice for underclassmen.
Senior Calvin Drake said, “The best way to pick your high school classes is to look into each class and understand what you will be doing in each. Also, having a rough idea of what you want to do past high school, such as what college you want to go to or if you even want to go to college, can help a lot.”
Senior Grant Schmid gave some advice as well, “You have to think about what could get you the most college credits as to help make your life easier on yourself in college. For electives, pick what interests you and what may correlate to what you might want to do in the future.”
Sophomore Campbell Laurvick said, “I think it is pretty crazy to think that I am going to be a junior, I am excited to start taking higher classes to prepare myself for college as it is only two years away.”
