Seniors reminded of financial aid opportunities

Kara Smith– Mustangs Ahead

Seniors(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- As LRHS seniors approach graduation, there are many things they need to do to prepare. Students need to do things from register for financial aid to register for the American College Testing (ACT) exam or Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) if needed.

To help seniors fill out the FAFSA form for scholarships and bright futures scholarships, two workshops will be held. The next workshop is scheduled for Feb. 27 at Braden River High School.

Senior Cameron Willis said, “I applied for FASFA and Bright Futures a few months ago, and it wasn’t that bad. I definitely recommend applying as soon as possible especially because it has to be completed before graduation day in order to qualify.”
