free football picture.jpeg(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Super Bowl LIV ended in a Kansas City Chiefs victory Sunday, and many Mustangs had extra-special interest in the game.

The Chiefs starting center, Austin Reiter is an LRHS alumnus. He graduated in 2010 and continued his football dream at University of South Florida (USF) before being drafted into the NFL.

Many students at the Ranch feel inspired that Reid not only played for the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, but his team but won.

LRHS senior TJ Patton said, “I think that it is awesome that a LRHS alumni played center for the chiefs in the Super Bowl. It just shows that anyone of us could be in the national spotlight at any time.”

Sophomore Carson Manning said, “I think it is very cool that Reiter was playing in the Super Bowl because it means I can go far just like him.”
