Mustang athletes commit to future Wednesday

Athletes signing National Letters of Intent are a Mustang tradition.

(LAKEWOOD RANCH)- The second LRHS signing day of the year for future collegiate athletes is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in the school auditorium.

These athletes have worked hard their four years of high school in order to earn an athletic scholarship for college.

The LRHS seniors that will be signing are –

  • Shamar Beatty, signing to play football at Atasca Community College
  • Michael Cucci, a football player signing to University of South Florida
  • Ashlyn Einwachter, a golfer on the LRHS team will be signing to Belmont Abbey College
  • Mason Ingallinera, a cross country runner who will be signing to the University of Colorado Springs
  • Emily Massengale, who will be signing to Lindenwood University to further her swimming career
  • Madeline McNinch, track and field, who will be signing to Wofford College
  • Rachel Monroe, a softball pitcher who will be signing to Murray State University

The students have dedicated many hours of practice to get where they are today. This is the next step for these athletes, and many are excited to see what lies next.
