This week has been a good week for the Mustangs. They played Tampa Jesuit High School, which is currently ranked 29th in the nation, on Monday Jan. 13. The game ended 1-1. The goal for the Mustangs was scored by senior top scorer Jacob Jordan. He currently has 16 goals this season.

On Wednesday, Jan.15 the team beat Manatee High School 6-0. This leaves them with one more game this week against North Port High School scheduled for Friday, Jan. 17 at North Port.

District playoffs will start soon for the team and senior captain Jacob Jordan believes the team is ready for the playoffs.

“This season so far is going great for us and we’re ready for the rest of the season and districts,” said Jordan.
