mustangs react logo(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – This week we asked the students of LRHS, “What was your favorite part of Winter break?

Winter break started on Mon. Dec. 23 and students returned Tues. Jan. 7.

Junior Jakob Deglman said, “my favorite part of break was when I went to New York City with my family. My favorite part of New York City was being able to go see the 9/11 museums and learning all the details of the tragedy. It had a huge impact on me to be able to see what these people experienced. I will always remember my trip to the city.”

Junior Aj Ward stated, “I had the most fun over break when I went to California. I loved being able to visit friends and family. When I was there, I stepped on a nail and had to get a tetanus shot unfortunately, but I still had a lot of fun. Definitely an experience I won’t forget!”

There were many mustangs who traveled all over the world this break.

Senior Madison Kiehl said, “the highlight of my break was New Year’s Eve. I loved being able to dress up and spend time with my friends and family. I also loved going to Disney World for a few days with some of my friends.”

Senior Allyson Decker agreed with Kiehl.

“One of my favorite parts of winter break was New Year’s Eve. I love seeing how festive everyone is and experiencing the thrill of the new year and decade. I also loved going to Washington D.C. and performing in the Military Ball,” Decker said.
