NEWS(LAKEWOOD RANCH FL.)- The purpose of the LRHS Parent Association (PA) is to support, reward and celebrate the exceptional character, integrity and skill of the LRHS students, faculty, staff and community. LRHS is the only high school in Manatee County with an active PA.

The current association is asking Mustang parents to volunteer their time at an event. Parents can join the association with a voluntary donation for membership.

On campus the association provides a holiday meal in December, faculty meal in the Spring, and meals throughout teacher appreciation week. They also honor four “Mustangs of the Quarter” who are nominated by faculty or staff members.

In the community, the parent association hosts a food drive for families of the community in need. Last spring the association was able to provide meals for 35 families.

The Parent Association provides a great opportunity to get involved in the community. Forms can be found on the LRHS website. Forms will also be handed out at the parent association tent at freshmen open house in the spring.
