Holidays mean community service for Key Club

key club logo(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS Key Club members love the holidays and love to volunteer even more. There are many event coming up and many that still need volunteers.

Holidays Around the Ranch: 3 – 10 p.m., Dec 13, Main Street at Lakewood Ranch, 8100 Lakewood Ranch Blvd, Bradenton, FL. Volunteers will work on set up, clean-up, and various tasks during the event.

Jingle Bell Run Manasota: 7:30 – 9:30 p.m., Dec 13, Nathan Benderson Park. Volunteers will help clean up and take down community 5k.

Night Before Christmas: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., Dec 14, G.T. Bray Park, 5502 33rd Ave Dr W, Bradenton, FL. Volunteers will set up, take down the event and help wherever it is needed.

Reindeer River Run 5k: 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., Dec 14, 12th Street West & 3rd Avenue West, 12th St W & 3rd Ave W, Bradenton, FL. Volunteers will help pass out water and set up racecourse.

Supper with Santa: 6 – 8 p.m., Dec 19, Braden River Elementary, 6125 River Club Blvd, Bradenton, FL. Volunteers will set up and take down the event and help where it is needed.

Jingle Run 5K: 4 – 10 p.m., Dec 20, Main Street at Lakewood Ranch, 8100 Lakewood Ranch Blvd, Bradenton, FL. Volunteers will help with kids’ races, handing out water, helping with registration, food, etc.

Mustangs who want more information on Key Club can attend one of the meetings, scheduled for every other Tuesday in room 509. Students can also visit the LRHS Key Club website or contact Key Club class director senior Faith Kylie Kurtz.
