Olivia Loop– Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Seniors are almost halfway through the school year with semester one exams right around the corner. While many seniors are focusing on their semester one grades, others are nervously awaiting to hear back from the colleges that they’ve applied to.
Senior Hayden Springer said, “I honestly feel like high school has gone by in a split second. Senior year is going by fast and I can confirm that senioritis is real. I am waiting to hear back from FSU and to attend in the fall. I will be majoring in business and minoring in marketing.”
Senior Hayes DuJardin said, “All of high school has gone by in a blur. It’s unbelievable to me that I am almost done. I plan on attending University of South Florida (USF) St. Petersburg next year and majoring in either journalism or audio engineering.”
Senior Chloe Nelson also feels her high school years have been flying by.
“It feels like yesterday I was walking into class the first day of freshman year, and it’s crazy how long ago that was,” Nelson admitted.
Nelson plans to go to Florida State University (FSU) and major in Forensic Sciences.
Senior Gabbi Tomaselli said, “Senior year has gone by very quick. The other three years of high school seemed to have gone by much slower. I’m debating on attending either a university or State College of Florida (SCF) once I graduate from high school.”
Tomaselli plans on majoring in Law and attending Stetson University College of Law after receiving her bachelor’s degree.
Senior Mason Ingallinera said, “I am excited to continue my running career in college. The first semester definitely went by fast. I will be sad when my high school running career comes to an end, it will definitely be bitter-sweet.”
