elf poster for kasper(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- On Thursday, Dec. 12, the LRHS Student Government Association (SGA) is hosting their first holiday themed movie night.

SGA members have sold tickets during all lunches but can also be purchased at the door for $3. All proceeds will be donated to help previous SGA advisor and Exceptional Student Education teacher, Heather Kasper.

Kasper took a leave of absence this year due to health issues. There is currently a Go-Fundme account in order to help with her medical expenses.

The showed movie will be “Elf.”

Students are encouraged to wear their ugly Christmas sweaters to school on Thursday, as well as the movie night. An ugly sweater competition will also be held in all lunches on Thursday where each winner will receive a free movie ticket.

“Elf” is expected to begin at 6 p.m. SGA members will also be running a concession stand throughout the whole movie and will sell hot chocolate, popcorn, candy and more.
