(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS boys and girls lacrosse teams will host a fundraiser at the Rusty Bucket restaurant and tavern, on 275 North Cattleman Rd, Sarasota, on Wednesday, Nov. 20.

Mustangs are encouraged to come out, and 15% of purchases will be donated to the LRHS lacrosse programs.

“Fundraising is important because we are totally self-funded programs so the money, we raise at our fundraisers help to keep our programs running,” said girls lacrosse team and LRHS human geography teacher Samantha Stoltz.

The money raised at the fundraiser will be used to fund a Junior Varsity (JV) team. Currently, LRHS only has a Varsity team.

“We were actually hoping to get a JV team this year so I think this will be really good for us, “ said Junior Erika Lyvers.

While ordering at the restaurant supporters must show their server the certificate and tell them they are with LRHS Lacrosse.
