Girls start soccer season with pre-season win

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS girls soccer team kicked off preseason with a 1-0 win against Lemon Bay High School Thursday night.

Freshman Danielle Vogel scored the winning goal for the Mustangs with an assist from senior Josie Curtis.

Curits explained, “I thought it was a really good game and we all worked extremely hard to hold our lead.”

Vogel expressed she’s looking forward to “A great season with some good challenges ahead of us.”

The girls’ season officially kicks off Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. against Venice High School at home.
