LRHS drama ready for cabaret

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The annual fall LRHS cabaret, “Give Our Regards to Old Broadway,” will be performed at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 8 and 9 in the LRHS auditorium.

The Cabaret includes a collection of musical numbers spanning 100 years of Broadway shows. There will be solos, duets, trios, and large cast numbers.

LRHS drama director Roxane Caravan said New York’s TADA! Youth Theater choreographer, music director, assistant choreographer, and director joined the theatre department to help with “Give Our Regards to Broadway.”

Katy Knowles is the choreographer, Michael Finke the music director, Patricia Ross the assistant choreographer.

Senior Kenna Agnew is excited to perform.

“It is my fourth year in theatre, and I think it is going to be a great show,” she said.

Senior Braeden Reed is another student involved with the cabaret, he is one of many students who help with props and designing the stage. Reed is also very “excited to be a part of the production.”

Tickets to the performance may be purchased by any cast or crew, or at the ticket booth on the days of the performances for $5 and up.
