Mason Ingallinera-Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – This weekend the LRHS girls cross country team traveled to North Port High School to compete in the 4A District 4 championship meet, where they placed third out of 17 teams.

The top 10 teams are selected to advance to the 4A Regional Race at Lake Region High School on Saturday, Nov. 2.

The team members moving on to regionals include Jessica Neal (fourth), Aurora Melzer (13th), Mason Ingallinera (17th), Sydney Granack (22nd), Emma Paliotta (35th), Tamlyn Leatt (38th), and Riley Bradshaw (43rd).

“Our girls have continually shown consistency and strength in our meets, and our District performance was no different,” said LRHS cross country coach Kristin Wikstrom. “Advancing to regionals is an important step towards what we ultimately want to accomplish this season.”

At regionals, the top eight teams advance to compete in the 4A State meet in Tallahassee, FL on Nov. 9.
