fbla logo(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) allows Mustangs to gain leadership skills in their school and community.

The club is advised by LRHS business teacher Dr.Bobbi Colson and members participate in community service projects, business conferences, help businesses grow, and more.

Sophomore Maggie Donnelly said that FBLA can show her “important skills for a bright future in business.”

This coming Nov. there will be a fall leadership conference taking place at Champions Gate.

The club is currently holding a fundraiser to help Mustangs go to districts and state FBLA competitions. They are selling Butter Braids pastries. Each 18 ounce braided pastry will serve 11 people.

The pastries are delivered frozen and are good for 6 – 8 months. All products will be delivered to Mustangs on Nov. 20 throughout the school day. You can purchase products here

The club hosts meetings at 7:05 a.m. every Wednesday in room 580.

Mustangs interested in joining should visit the FBLA website for more information or visit Colson in room 580.
