Cameron Perry– Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- This week 25 LRHS art students were selected to display their art in the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport terminal.
Displaying artwork by local students is an airport tradition. There will be three award winners of the contest, first place receiving $200, second place receiving $50, and third place receiving $25.
Winners will be announced later this month, with the reception being scheduled for December 5th, at six pm.
The following students and their art pieces were selected:
- Deklyn Falkner – tarpon fish
- Taylor Geleta – little boy with a baseball hat
- Nina McHardy – an African woman
- Evan Keever – a bonfire
- Victoria Bork – face in a ballpoint pen
- Gee Basilone – pug with a plane
- Ana Olson – a fluffy dog with toy
- Kylie Kline – half view of the woman face in mixed media
- Sarah Eckstrom – betta fish
- Natalie DelSavio – SE Guide Dog
- Madisyn Kidgell – Sunset in watercolor
- Anastasia Bakhouch – Half color half black and white girl with fish
- Gabrielle O’Neill – frog on limb
- Crystal Paver – car in front of building
- Thomas Bustamante – Flower and leaves
- Luis Figuera – playing card soilders
- Uriel Gonzalez – roses face with watering can
- Jamie McHardy – Coral reef
- Camila Usubillaga – children’s shoes
- Lindsey Lippincott – angel with whale
- Grace Parry – rainbow happy dog
- Skye Stephens – Doberman in water with toy
- Lindsey Limbach – Woman portrait with soda bottle
- Ashlie Langlois – Digital bird in nest colorful
- Hudson Norman – Black and white out of focus hummingbird
