Csenge Csicsek – Mustangs Ahead

HOMECOMING PROTOTYPE 2019(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- LRHS hosted its annual “Lakewood’s Got Talent” show at 7 p.m. on Oct 2. in the school auditorium. There were 10 student performers along with performances by LRHS staff, drumline, the Silver Stars dance team, theatre and orchestra groups, and chorus director Giselle Panagiotakis.

The winners were announced at the end of the night.

First place: Otavio Maya

Second place: Lily Potter and Michael Webb

Third place: Anastasia Bakhouh

A transfer student from Brazil, senior Maya performed a song in Portuguese and played the acoustic guitar.  He was amazed when his name was announced as first place.

“I was a little nervous, but all the other contestants made me feel very welcomed which helped me to overcome the nervousness.” Maya stated. “It is a personal achievement, and everything was amazing.”
