ffa logo(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- LRHS FFA had its first field trip of the year Thursday. The “Chapter Officer Leadership Training” (COLT) trip was for officers only and was focused on leadership training.

Individual FFA chapters from different regions of Florida came together to work with FFA State Officers.

The officers were scheduled to participate in a variety of leadership activities as well as attend guest speaker presentations which will give them valuable information and skills that they will be able to bring back to their chapters in order to lead them to success.

“I’m most excited to be seeing some old friends from other chapters as well as getting the chance to make new friends,” said sophomore Taylor Zwart. “I’m also looking forward to learning new skills I can bring back home to our chapter.”
