Lindsey Limbach – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- With Fall here, new music has been coming out almost every other week. Here are seven songs to get Mustangs excited for the upcoming season:
7.) Panini (ft. DaBaby) by Lil Nas X- Released on Sept. 13 this hit has been stuck in almost everyone’s head. This song is going to be remembered and associated with the best of 2019 hits.
This release includes DaBaby who was enlisted for the newer installment of the reported “remix series”. This is the first collaboration between DaBaby and Lil Nas X.
6.) Hot Girl Bummer by Blackbear- As the song says, “This that hot girl bummer anthem, turn it up..” and that’s what the girls around the ranch have been doing.
Junior, Ashley Pascarella said she’s had this song on repeat for the last couple of weeks. This song is considered to be Blackbear’s highly anticipated new single since his latest album.
5.) Falling by Trevor Daniel- This song is about not believing you can find somebody else after a bad break-up but you get caught by surprise when you catch feelings for someone.
Junior Marissa Briggs said, “This song has more of a chill vibe but can definitely get you hype if you’re in the right mindset.”
4.) Sweater Weather by The Neighbourhood- This throwback to 2014 sets the mood for fall. What’s better than cozying up with a comfy sweater and watching horror movies?
3.) Hollywood’s Bleeding by Post Malone- Coming from Post Malone’s latest album, this song is perfect for the fall season. Fall is usually associated with calming things, things that make you feel relaxed. This song has good beat that will keep you from dozing off.
2.) Monster Mash by Bobby Boris Pickett and The Crypt-Kickers- Of course we can’t forget “Monster Mash” a Halloween classic. This song is perfect for Fall because the whole time you listen to it, you’re thinking “Halloween”.
1.) Thriller by Michael Jackson- Sound familiar? Party City uses this song in their Halloween commercials making this a tune to get you excited for Fall.
Dartmouth College Professor of Sociology Kathryn Lively said, “As children, we come to associate fall with going back to school, new school supplies, seeing friends. It’s exciting, for most. We still respond to this pattern that we experienced for eighteen years.”
While as kids we do look forward to these things, the thing most Mustangs really seem to be excited about is the new music.
