Mustangs reminded of Homecoming dress code

Mackenzie Hopkins – Mustangs Ahead

HOMECOMING PROTOTYPE 2019(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – As homecoming week approaches, Mustangs are reminded of the school’s Homecoming Dance dress code policy.

According to the Lakewood Ranch High School student handbook, girls are not allowed to wear dresses above mid-thigh; this includes slits in the dress.

Additionally, girls are prohibited from wearing dresses that have keyholes or peek-a-boo openings or dresses that expose the midriff area.

However, girls are permitted to wear backless dresses so long as the back of the dress does not dip below the natural waistline.

For boys, a tie, dress slacks, and dress shoes are required. On the other hand, they are restricted from wearing hats, denim clothing, and shorts.

Those who fail to follow the homecoming dress code will not be allowed to enter the dance.
