clubs(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The new school spirit club “The Stampede” held a meeting after school on Thursday in adviser and LRHS vocational teacher Thomas Cuervo’s room, 930.

The meeting was held to discuss the themes for upcoming home volleyball games. The clubs chose white out and neon night for the next two games.

Club President senior Zack Weston said, “We chose these themes to promote school spirit and increase attendance at the sports games.”

Also, during the meeting, students turned in a $20 fee for the club. The fee will go to the students’ club t-shirt, rally towel, and other items. Students also had a chance to get a sports pass for a discounted $35 just by being in the club.

The Stampede aims to raise school spirit at all LRHS athletic events.
