Key Club busy through month end

key club logo(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Key Club has just posted seven new events for its members this month.

Volleyball Game Concessions from 7 – 9 p.m. on Sept. 19 and Sept. 30, at LRHS. Volunteers need to run the concession stand during the girls’ volleyball games.

Braden River Elementary PTA Meeting Childcare from 5:45 – 8 p.m. on Sept. 19, at Braden River Elementary. Volunteers will monitor kids in the cafeteria while parents attend the PTA meeting.

Life Story 5K/10K from 6 – 10 a.m. on Sept. 21, at Nathan Benderson Park. Volunteers will help set up, clean up, and hand out water to runners.

Fruitville Park Clean-up from 8 – 11 a.m. on Sept. 21, at Fruitville Park under the large pavilion. Volunteers will help with invasive removal.

Troup Support Packing Party from 9 – 10 a.m. on Sept. 21, at 4301 32 St. W., Bradenton. Volunteers will help package goods for our soldiers overseas.

Laps for Life 5K from 6:30 – 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 28, at Nathan Benderson Park. Volunteers will help on the race course and at check in.

Key Club Kickoff Conference (KCKC) from 10 a.m.- 2:15 p.m. on Sept. 28, at Booker High School. Volunteers will meet Key Club members in their district and learn about officer positions.

Mustangs who want more information on Key Club can attend one of the meetings, scheduled for every other Tuesday in room 509. Students can also visit the LRHS Key Club website or contact key club class director senior Faith Kylie Kurtz.
