Game Club’s first meeting gathered over 30 interested Mustangs, many who were first-time visitors.

Game Club is a social club for those interested in board games and similar entertainment mediums.

Game Club president, sophomore Jamie Holt said, “I was happy we saw a large turnout for our first meeting, it’s great to see our small club start to grow.”

New game club member and sophomore Julia Sammons said, “It feels like a great way to socialize with people who hold similar interests.”

This year, Game Club requires a $25 membership fee, due by Friday, Oct. 4.

Game Club plans to use the membership fee to buy T-shirts for all its members and purchase new games for its members to play.

Mustangs interested in Game Club can visit its second meeting on Friday, Sept. 13.

For more information regarding Game Club see advisor Daniel Shafer in room 219.
