Dahlquist ambition for the pep rally was to “have the students identify with the school and the mustangs and to get students to show out to more sports games.”

During the pep rally, the LRHS band played while the cheerleaders and LRHS Sliver Stars dance team entertained the crowd. Varsity cheer captain and senior Briana Pierson said, “We were more than happy to be present at the pep rally today and support the sports teams.”

The LRHS cheerleading program, Sliver Stars dance team, and the administration did the “Git Up” dance for the students. Administrators Thomas Cuervo, Jeanie Galindino, and Tom Bellantonio performed a skit to the hit song “Old Time Road.”
