(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- This year, Mustangs have the opportunity to see the skies in a new light with the school’s Astronomy Club.

The club’s first meeting of the year is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 4 and will take place in Biology teacher Elizabeth Coody’s room, 618. The club will meet the first Wednesday of every following month.

The first meeting will focus on general information regarding the club, as well as provide an idea about some of the events which may occur in the club.

The Astronomy Club hopes to provide students with an interest in the sky a chance to meet other peers with similar passions.

Club president  junior William Flood said, “Astronomy Club is a place where those with a love of space, or anything related to space can share their passion.”

For more information see Coody in room 618.
