Global LRHS clubs join forces

unicef + girl up logo(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The Lakewood Ranch High School United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) Club is joining forces with another LRHS UN club, Girl Up.

“We are able to raise money for children around the world in need. We get to help others in need which is the best part. It’s a great feeling knowing you can contribute to an important cause.” said UNICEF member Wesly Viquerat.

Girl Up focuses more specifically on empowering young women and promoting career goals for girls in developing countries and areas of the world in need.

UNICEF and Girl Up have combined together for fund raisers and other club activities.
