Mustangs for Kids hopes for successful year

(Lakewood Ranch, FL) -The Mustangs for Kids club’s first meeting is scheduled for Thursday Aug 29.

Mustangs for Kids hosts fundraisers to raise money for Shriners Children’s Hospital, a hospital that provides all surgeries, treatment and therapy’s completely for free for children with disabilities. Mustangs for Kids members range from freshmen to seniors.

Last year Mustangs for Kids set a fundraising goal of $10,000 and fell short by $1,300.

This year they want to surpass last year’s goal and raise $12,000 to donate to the hospital.

Officer junior Toni Gulbrandsen stated, “I think Mustangs for Kids is a really great group to be a part of since we not only get to be involved in our school but make a real difference in other people’s lives by raising money for a good cause.”
