(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS welcomes new English teacher Debra Hart.

Hart’s previous teaching experience includes the University of Clarion, University of South Florida and Argosy University. She has been teaching for 37 years, and previously taught at Buffalo Creek Middle School.

New LRHS English teacher Debra Hart brings years of experience to the classroom.

Hart loves kids, so it doesn’t matter what grade level she teaches.

So far Hart is excited to see what this school brings. “I like the interactions between students and other faculty. I feel like I’m learning new hints every day and I enjoy the environment,” said Hart.

Although she’s eager to learn new skills here, she does have some worries. “I think the hardest part of this year will just be getting to know how the school operates. I need to become more familiar with the logistics of things and who does what,” shared Hart.

Hart plans on staying organized this year by not falling behind on anything. She plans on staying at LRHS as long as she finds it enjoyable.

When she’s not in the classroom, Hart likes to enjoy the outdoors, go to sporting events, and spend quality time with friends and family.

“I would describe myself as sensitive, patient, humorous, caring, and determined,” said Hart.

Sophomore Taylor Golden says, “I’m very excited to have her as a teacher. She seems fun…I think this year will be pretty good.”
