SADD seeks new members

sadd logo(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) is welcoming new students and returning members to their first meeting of the 2019-220 school year on Tuesday, Aug. 20 after school in room 542.

The club is devoted to preparing students for adulthood through youth leadership development and focuses on empowering the involved teens and adults.

President Junior Tayla Rosenthal said, “I am super excited to share SADD with new students and find enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join the club. This year ahead is going to be awesome.”

Vice President Grant Schmid, junior, is also enthusiastic about kicking this new chapter off.

“The interest meeting in going to be great. Lots of cool capable people are running this club and I’m expecting a great year,” said Schmid.

The officers are planning on an upcoming ice cream social, however the date is still in the works.
