(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – August 20 will mark the first meeting for the 2020 LRHS girls lacrosse season. The meeting will take place directly after school in room 543.

As the Mustangs prepare for their third official year of lacrosse, an informational meeting has been scheduled to give new and returning players insight on the upcoming season.

“I’m so excited for this next season. I just know we are going to do great and can’t wait to get to playing,” said Junior Erika Lyvers, who has played for the team since its origin.

The meeting, led by head coach Sammy Stoltz and assistant coach Kelly Smith-Williams, will cover important information for the new year and give players a chance to meet and get to know their potential teammates.

Stoltz offers new players some advice, “Start coming to conditioning and purchase a stick so you can start practicing.”

Stoltz said she’s most excited about “continuing to grow as a program and rising to new and different challenges.”

Coaches plan to start conditioning Sept. 24, holding the workouts every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
