One of LRHS’s largest club kicks off 2019-20

lakewood leaders logo 2019(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Lakewood Leaders had its first meeting of the school year Wednesday Aug. 14.

Lakewood Leaders is an LRHS club dedicated to preparing students for leadership through community service.

“I am looking forward to getting community service hours and helping out our community,” shared freshmen Jasmine Burden.

Applications to join can be turned in before and after school with the $20 dues starting Aug. 19, to the club adviser Meghan Sugalski in room 587.

Many events for the club have already been posted on its website, and members are required to participate in a minimum of two events per semester.

Lakewood Leaders first event is Aug. 24 Ft. Hamer bridge run.
