NEWS(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS earned an “A” school grade from the Florida Department of Education (FDOE) for the 2018-19 school year.

This is the third straight “A” the Mustangs have earned.  It is the tenth time the school has acieved the state’s highest ranking, 

According to the FDOE website, school grades are based on a variety of factors, which include-

  • Achievement
  • Learning gains
  • Graduation
  • Acceleration success
  • Maintaining a focus on students who need the most support

“School grades provide an easily understandable metric to measure the performance of a school,” the FDOE reports.  “Parents and the general public can use the school grade and its associated components to understand  how well each school is serving its students.”
